東京藝術大学器楽科ピアノ専攻卒業。ウィーン国立音楽大学ピアノ科にてヤン・イラチェック氏に師事。室内楽、伴奏法をマインハルト・プリンツ氏に師事。
2003年第14回彩の国埼玉ピアノコンクール一般部門金賞受賞、埼玉県知事賞受賞、ヤマハ賞受賞、2003年第2回名古屋国際コンクール、ファイナリスト、奨励賞受賞。2005年第15回八千代音楽コンクールファイナリスト、奨励賞受賞。
2008年第4回ウィーン国立音楽大学ヨーゼフ・ディヒラーコンクール第2位。2010年ヴァル・ティドーネ国際音楽コンクール(イタリア)第5位、シュリッツピアノアカデミー国際コンクール(ドイツ)第3位、ライプツィヒ・シューマンハウス賞、ヘッセンムジークアカデミー賞受賞、ロータリークラブ奨学金授与。2010年第16回ショパン国際ピアノコンクール(ワルシャワ)においてディプロマ賞受賞、審査終了後、審査員のマルタ・アルゲリッチ氏より賞賛を受ける。2011年トレロドネス国際音楽フォーラムフェスティバル(マドリード)に招待されショパンのピアノ協奏曲１番を演奏。2011年11月には、岡崎市コロネットにてザ・プレミアムトーク～世界一流のマエストロ ウラディミール・アシュケナージ氏を迎えて～に出演、賞賛を受ける。また、仙台フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、NHK交響楽団のメンバーと室内楽で共演。平成21年度文化庁新進芸術家海外研修生。これまでに、オーストリア（ウィーン、ザルツブルク）、スペイン（マドリード、バルセロナ、バレンシア）、ポーランド（ワルシャワ）、ベルギー（アントワープ）、ドイツ（フランクフルト）でのリサイタルに出演。2012年度、CHANEL Pygmalion Daysアーティストに選出。2013年2月、NHK-FM「リサイタル ノヴァ」に出演。
これまでに三ツ橋敬子指揮セントラル愛知交響楽団定期演奏会、名古屋フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、現田茂夫指揮神奈川フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、西村智美指揮神奈川フィルハーモニー管弦楽団等と共演。
2015年9月には、東京文化会館にて開催された第515回日本モーツァルト協会例会演奏会にて、ヴァイオリニストのセルゲイ・マーロフ氏と共演、「音楽の友」誌にて、絶賛される。2013年4月より、ベーゼンドルファージャパンにて、インペリアルピアノレッスン講師。2015年日本アコースティックレコーズより、デビューCD「J First」をリリース。
これまでに藤井博子、笠間春子、青柳晋、田部京子、フェルナンド・プチョール、海老彰子、アキレス・デレ＝ヴィーニェの各氏に師事。
近年はドバイ・レバノン等中東諸国でもツアーを行うなど、日本のみならず世界各国で幅広く演奏活動を行っている。

Junna Iwasaki, born in Japan, graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts with BA degree and continued her study at the University for music and performing arts in Vienna majoring in Piano performance (Universitaet fuer Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien
Klavier Konzertfach), from where she graduated with BM degree with highest honor. She is continuously studying at the Master of Music degree course (Magister Studium) at the University.
As Miss Iwasaki was pursuing her career in Europe she received numerous prizes at international piano competitions. This includes, in 2010, she received Diploma award at the 16th International Chopin Competition at Warsaw. Martha Argerich, Jury of the competition gave her a special praise on her performance, and also the same comment was made at the media interview.
In 2011, she was invited to perform in the concert commemorating the 200th anniversary of Franz Liszt’s birth at the Musikverein in Vienna.
In 2012, she was chosen as a Chanel Pygmalion days Artist.
She was invited to perform with Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra,Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Keiko Mitsuhashi, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Shigeo Genda and Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Tomomi Nishimoto.
Also in the same year, she toured with violinist Sergey Malov throughout Japan.
She is one of the most promising young pianists in Japan who is also seeking her concert artist career overseas. She has already given recitals at various cities in Europe including Vienna, Salzburg, Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Warsaw, Antwerp, Frankfurt,Tehran,Doha and Dubai.
